Aris

Ares, the god of war and indomitable power in ancient Greek mythology, has been a timeless symbol of courage, passion and protection. Hesiod describes him as “the Ares who pierces shields”, emphasizing his fierceness and merciless nature. In his hands he holds a spear and a shield – tools of battle as well as symbols of power.

The Aris lighting series, inspired by this mythical figure, transfers the primordial symbol of the shield to the modern space.
